I purchased a couple of different steel slides (Stubbs SP2 and a "Lap Dawg"), from Amazon, and I find they work better than the Peavey factory supplied slide. The factory slide is somewhat thick, rolled steel(?) stamping: Chromed, and it is too light for extended practice sessions.
