WebbPlatyrrhines, or New World Monkeys (NWM), are a diverse group of primates currently distributed in the Neotropical region from Mexico to Northern Argentina but excluding the Caribbean islands. They are all arboreal, but exhibit a wide spectrum of locomotor postures as well as body sizes ( Fleagle 2013 ).
